Study Higher Summer Schools

Do you fancy a taste of what life is like as a university student? Do you want to experience living in university halls of residence? Are you curious to find out what it’s actually like to study different subjects at higher education level?

Then one of the Study Higher summer schools could be right for you!

Study Higher is a partnership of universities and colleges working together to make sure young people are aware of all the educational options available to them once they turn 18. They understand it can sometimes be daunting to think about the next steps after school or college, which is why they run activities and events, like summer schools, to help. Why not have a look at their  Brochure  for more information. They have only a total 40 spaces available for each summer school. Study Higher will pay for accommodation, meals and all activities during the stay, and reimbursed for any travel costs incurred when travelling to and from the residential:

 o Who? Open to students who have just finished year 9
·  Y10 Animal Science 
 o When? Mon 6th – Weds 8th August 2018
 o Where? The Royal Agricultural University, Stroud Road, Cirencester, GL7 6JS
 o Who? Open to students who have just finished year 10
·  Y11 Taste of University (Media, Law, Computing, art and more)
 o When? Tue 17 – Thur 19 July 2018
 o Where? Buckinghamshire New University 
 o Who? Open to students who have just finished year 11
·  Yr12 Healthy Living – Mind, Body, History 
 o When? Tue 17 –  Thur 19 July 2018
 o Where? University of Reading
 o Who? Open to students who have just finished year 12
