We’ve tried to make this bit as serious as we can, but at AYA we believe in having fun!
AYA is funded from a number of national and local funding bodies, some of which we have listed below.
- Aylesbury Vale District Council
- Aylesbury Town Council
- Aylesbury Vale Community Trust
- Big Lottery
- Heart of Bucks
- Interfaith Youth Trust
- Mulberry Trust
- Rothschild Foundation
- William Harding Charity
If you are interested in learning more about AYA, please take a look at our Annual Report for more detail on what we did during the previous year and our Annual Accounts for the detail on our income and spending. If you would like a printed copy of either of these please contact us at the office.
We are always looking for new ideas to generate more funds to continue what we do best. If you feel that you would like to help fundraise please take a look at our Get Involved page for more information or our Donations page to make an online donation.
New CIO Status for AYA
In April 2016, we changed our organisation’s structure to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), mainly to allow younger members to take on Trustee roles from the of age 16 and therefore to add to our Youth Led ethos. Our Constitution is available to download below if you would like to know more about our core values.
Aylesbury Youth Action is governed by a Board of Trustees, who guide and sculpt the charity. We also have a staff team who take care of the day-to-day operations of running community projects. If you would like to know more about our trustees or members of staff please look at our Meet the Team page. We are always on the lookout for new trustees who can add value to AYA – if you are interested in finding out more, please do get in touch.
