Project Partners Info
*** Coronavirus Update ***
AYA collaborate with organisations in the local community and run projects in which young people from the Aylesbury Vale area volunteer to provide activities for the local residents. All activities are related to the specific needs of the community organisation.
As with many charities and community organisations, AYA has adapted how we provide our services during the Coronavirus period. The young people who have previously registered with AYA to become a member of our Youth Volunteering service, have been working remotely to create and compile activities to support local community members, keeping their minds active and engaged.
AYA are currently working towards phasing back to face-to-face activities through the Autumn Term of 2020 with any project partners who feel comfortable to do so. There will be a set of Coronavirus briefing details sent out to all volunteers to ensure that everyone will be operating safely. In addition, we wish to induct each volunteer on location at a project to ensure that the specific procedures on site are followed as well.
In the meantime we will continue with the remote volunteering and develop the activities over the Autumn/Winter 2020 into Spring 2021 to support our project partners in the best way we can.
