Taking Action in Our Community -

Youth Volunteering in Aylesbury

ALLOTMENT

Our allotment, being run in partnership with the Uptown Coffee Bar is progressing well this year but there’s still lots to get involved in from watering and weeding, to picking and clearing.  If you’d like to spend a couple of enjoyable hours outdoors then this could be the project for you!

 The session will be taking place Wednesday 7^th July, 10 – 12.30pm meeting at QPC.  If you’d like to get involved please let a member of the AYA team know or for more information please speak to Simon.

Wii SPORTS

We’d like to invite you to a game of tennis.... or bowling.... or perhaps canoeing.  The Generate wii sports project is off to a new venue at the beginning of July and we need more volunteers to get involved in this fun project, teaching the older people how to play, setting up competitions and getting to know them.

 The session will be taking place in Steeple Claydon on Tuesday 6^th July.  Lifts will be provided for volunteers from the Queens Park Arts Centre at 10am, returning at 1pm.  If you would like to meet directly at the venue please contact the office for directions and amended times.  If you have any questions or would like more info please speak to Sara.
