Join us for our return visit to Marsworth locks where we’ll be repainting the locks to help them last longer and make the canal safer for boaters.  We’ll also be doing some litter-picking, and you might get the chance to help open the locks for passing barges.

Bring some water with you to drink and dress appropriately for the weather on the day – we will be outdoors for the whole session.

Be aware that we will be working by the Canal.  Life jackets will be provided but we ask that all volunteers take care.  A full risk assessment can be provided upon request.

This is an accessible project:

Toilets nearby, parking close to project location, flat ground and pathways suitable for wheelchairs. AYA staff available to provide additional support (please discuss specific needs in advance to check we can accommodate these)

Day: Friday 4th August
Time: 10:30 – 1:30pm (meet at Star Tops car park near the bluebell cafe)
Location: Startops End, Marsworth, Tring

If your’re interested in getting involved or any other Summer projects, just fill in the sign up form and we will get back to you with more information. Each sign up form will be dealt with strictly in the order in which they arrive.
