Have you every wondered what backstage at Aylesbury Waterside looks like? Or perhaps you’re a regular performer and would like to support others in their theatrical endeavours? Or maybe you’d like some more experience working with children?

AYA has been asked by Sapnay to provide 20 or more volunteers aged 17 and above to support a cast of 200+ children in their upcoming Bollywood performance on 2nd April. Volunteers will help keep the children occupied as well as walk them between dressing rooms and the stage doors. Don’t worry if you are not 17 yet, the Bollywood dance group requires volunteers to help with backstage set up and scene arranging.

Below is what is expected from the volunteers on the day:

  • Chaperoning children throughout the day
  • Ensuring they get through to hair, make-up, costume on time
  • Ensuring they are on the stage at their call times
  • To be enthusiastic with the children
  • Have good communication skills
  • To be DBS checked (depending on age)

Day: Sunday
Time: 9:00 to 10:00pm (You can help all day or help for part of the day. Lunch/Supper will be provided.)
